We are excited to announce that Tempora Labs, a pioneering agentic AI startup that builds high-reasoning and conversational DeFi investing copilots, has integrated Khalani to power local and crosschain swap execution inside their flagship product, DR HIRO. With Khalani as the underlying execution layer, DR HIRO users can now execute swaps across supported chains with deterministic settlement, directly from within the copilot interface.
This integration brings together two sides of a powerful thesis: intelligent, intent-driven portfolio agents on the front end, and safe, solver-driven execution infrastructure on the back end.
Tempora Labs is building the agentic allocator layer for intelligent DeFi portfolio generation and execution. Their approach centers on a copilot model in which users express portfolio intents in natural language, and autonomous agents handle planning, execution, monitoring, and rebalancing within defined risk parameters.
The first product is DR HIRO, the agentic DeFi investing copilot that operates as a persistent portfolio agent. Users connect their wallets and interact with DR HIRO through a conversational interface, issuing commands like "Invest 0.4 USDC on Base, conservative," "Update portfolio to $10,000," "Execute strategy," or "Withdraw to USDC." Or even more complex, multi-layered intents like “I want to invest 4 USDC from my Base wallet into stablecoins to generate yield. I am looking for an aggressive portfolio with a 70% liquid yield-bearing stablecoin and 30% yield optimized vault. Can you create the optimized live portfolio for me with these criteria?”. DR HIRO interprets these intents, proposes portfolio plans, executes trades, monitors performance, and continuously rebalances allocations and updates new portfolio targets.

The experience is wrapped in a single dashboard that surfaces live portfolio state, net worth tracking, transaction history, agent activity logs, and alerts. Every action DR HIRO takes is logged, explainable, and exportable in real time. Users approve every transaction. The platform is non-custodial.
Tempora is currently in alpha on Base and Ethereum, with a roadmap through 2026 that includes multi-strategy stablecoin yield rebalancing, policy-based allocation and risk constraints, expanded asset support, and institutional access. It plans to be multichain, seeking attractive and sustainable yield opportunities regardless of the chain, protocol, or platform.
The copilot model fundamentally changes how DeFi users interact with their portfolios. Instead of manually navigating DEXs, selecting routes, managing gas, and monitoring positions, users describe what they want, and an agent handles the rest.
But the agent still needs to execute. Every swap, every rebalance, every withdrawal is a transaction that needs to settle correctly. When those transactions span multiple chains or involve complex routing across fragmented liquidity venues, the execution layer becomes a critical dependency. If the agent proposes a portfolio adjustment and the underlying swap fails, partially settles, or routes through an unreliable path, the user experience breaks, regardless of how intelligent the copilot is.
For an autonomous agent operating continuously, this is even more acute. DR HIRO is not executing any user-initiated swaps and is waiting for confirmation. It is managing ongoing portfolio objectives, initiating trades across assets and venues, and monitoring outcomes over time. The execution layer underneath needs to be deterministic, atomic, and reliable at every step, not just most of the time.
Building that execution infrastructure from scratch is not where an AI copilot team should be spending its engineering resources. The hard problems in agentic portfolio management are reasoning, risk modeling, strategy composition, and user experience. Execution and settlement should be infrastructure that plugs in, not infrastructure that gets rebuilt for every new DeFi agent product.
By integrating Khalani, Tempora offloads the entire execution and settlement layer to purpose-built infrastructure. When DR HIRO determines that a swap, rebalance, or withdrawal needs to happen, the transaction is routed through Khalani's solver network, where qualified solvers compete to execute it at the best available pricing across chains and liquidity venues.
Settlement is handled through Khalani's on-chain settlement kernel. Value is escrowed before execution begins. Funds release only when conditions are met. Failed steps refund automatically. Neither the user nor DR HIRO needs to trust any individual solver or intermediary. The settlement guarantees are enforced by protocol.
This gives Tempora several things that matter for an agentic product:
Deterministic settlement. When DR HIRO initiates a swap, the outcome is guaranteed by Khalani's escrow-based settlement model. The agent can plan and execute with confidence that each step will either complete as intended or refund, with no ambiguous partial states.
Crosschain reach. Khalani is live across 40+ chains, including EVM and Solana, with 1,000+ supported assets. As Tempora expands beyond Base, Khalani's existing multi-chain infrastructure means DR HIRO can execute across chains without Tempora needing to integrate bridges, DEXs, or liquidity venues individually.
Competitive execution quality. Khalani's solver competition model means DR HIRO's users benefit from execution quality that improves with network scale. Solvers compete on price, speed, and reliability for every transaction, producing better outcomes than fixed-route execution.
Infrastructure-grade reliability. For an always-on copilot managing live portfolios, execution downtime is not an option. Khalani's settlement kernel has been in continuous production for 3+ years, providing the kind of infrastructure reliability that agentic products need to operate autonomously.
Tempora and Khalani represent two layers of the same thesis: that DeFi is moving from manual, user-directed execution toward intent-driven, agent-managed workflows. Tempora is building the intelligence layer, the copilot that understands portfolio goals and translates them into action. Khalani is building the execution layer, the infrastructure that ensures those actions settle safely and efficiently across chains.
This is the pattern we expect to see more of: AI-native products on the front end, with safe, programmable execution infrastructure on the back end. The agent reasons about what should happen. Khalani guarantees that it does.
As DR HIRO scales to more users, more strategies, and more chains, Khalani's infrastructure scales with it, without Tempora needing to rebuild execution logic for each new asset, venue, or chain.
This integration marks the beginning of a deeper collaboration. As Tempora moves through its 2026 roadmap, including multi-strategy yield rebalancing, risk-constrained execution, and expanded chain support, Khalani's execution and settlement infrastructure will serve as the backbone for increasingly complex agentic workflows.
The combination of intelligent portfolio agents and deterministic execution infrastructure unlocks a new class of DeFi products where users express intent and infrastructure handles the rest, safely.
More to come from this collaboration.
"DR HIRO is designed to be an always-on portfolio manager that users can trust with their capital. That trust starts with reliable execution. Integrating Khalani means every swap and rebalance DR HIRO initiates and settles deterministically, with on-chain guarantees. Our team can focus entirely on building better reasoning and strategy, while Khalani handles the execution layer underneath."
Kevin R. Chen, Founder & CEO, Tempora Labs
"Tempora represents exactly the kind of product Khalani's infrastructure is built to serve: an intelligent agent that needs safe, reliable execution across chains and assets. DR HIRO's copilot model is a strong signal of where DeFi is heading, and Khalani is the execution layer that makes it possible to build products like this without compromising on settlement guarantees."
